Kids Say the Darndest Things

On Saturday I took the kids over to my grandmother's house since we haven't been there in awhile.

To say that she collects dolls may be an understatement.  At their old house she had a "doll room".  Yes, she has that many dolls.  Now that she lives up here closer to us, she no longer has a doll room, but there are dolls everywhere!! Some of these dolls look like your normal play with dolls and some are very old and they look really, really creepy!! 

Aiden loves to play hide and seek with Gigi and goes to the same spot everytime...in the spare bedroom behind the headboard to the bed.  In this room there is one of those really creepy dolls and he was telling Gigi that it was ugly.  She told him that it is not ugly, she's just really old.  He was poking the doll in the eye and talking about it's eyes being ugly and she again told him that the doll's eyes look like that because it's old.  He turned to her and said, "well your eyes don't look like that". 

Oh kids say the darndest things! Good thing Gigi has a good sense of humor! :-)
