Wordless Wednesday: Mustache Fun

This past weekend, this handsome little guy turned 8. Yep, I had to relook at the invitation just to make sure I was right because I can't believe he's 8!!

He had a mustache themed party. So cute, right!? 

I loved seeing all the kids running around with their little mustaches on.  Emma was counting down for days because she had caught an early glimpse of the mustaches and she couldn't wait to get her hands on a pink mustache Aunt Kelly promised her!

WW: My Little Birdies

The last time we went to Aunt Kelly's, the girls had a great time building nests out of blankets, stuffed animals, and these rubber tubs.  I remembered that we had some at home and promised Emma that I would get them out for her to play with.

Who knew how much fun these could be?

 

 

 

 

 

No More Green Beans

The other night when Patrick was feeding Aubrey she started shaking her head no and refused to take another bite.  I thought this was hilarious.  She knows what she wants and doesn't want already! He said that she's done this to him several times lately, but it was the first time I saw it.

Wordless Wednesday: What We've Been Up Too...

Here's what we've been up to this week...

• Turning 6 months old

•  Making Valentine's Day crafts (This girl and her faces. :-) I swear she liked it, she even asked to make at least 4 when I had to stop her!)

• Going to Chuck E. Cheese's to celebrate Aiden's great report card

 

This makes us giggle everytime we look at it!

• Playing in the snow

• Checking ourselves out

• Going back to the doctor for yet another double ear infection for Emma (the 3rd this winter) and strep for Patrick

She can still work the camera, even worth sore ears :-)

• And learning the in's and out's of how to beat Bowser on Mario

It's always a fun and busy time in this house! 

Chatty Baby

Aubrey has recently discovered 2 new loves.

1. Herself.  She loves to look at herself. I'll put her in front of the mirror. Smiles.  I'll hold my phone camera so she can see herself. Smiles. She loves checking herself out.  I can't blame her. She is a cute little thing.

2. Talking.  I love it. She is constantly blabbering now.  A lot of it is Dada this and Dada that.  {I refuse to believe that it means Dada as in Dada. Sorry Patrick, but it doesn't count as her first word until it's Mama.    :-)} So her "talking" involves a lot of dada's and some screams, along with raspberries.  Adorable.

Wordless Wednesday: Little Gamers & a Cutie Pie

They take Mario very seriously around here, you never know when a bad guy is gonna jump out and attack ya!

Usually Emma is right there with her own controller "playing" with Aiden. Yesterday, she was too busy to be bothered so here's a picture I got of us the other night when we were watching the red carpet together. Well for the .25 seconds she actually sat with me. :-)

Seriously? Could they be any cuter?? Yeah, I don't think so either! :-)

WW: 3 Month Comparisons

Aiden at 3 Months: 16 lbs 13 oz, 26 inches

Emma at 3 Months: 14 lbs, 24 inches

Aubrey at 3 Months: 14 lbs 2 oz, 24 1/2 inches

I cannot get over how gigantic Aiden was! Lol!! And I'm bummed about the quality of his pictures too. :-( Can you tell that they were just scanned into the computer?

Our opinion this month? Emma and Aubrey look alike, but Aiden doesn't look like either one of the girls.  What do you think?

WW: Happy Morning!

I'm not a morning person.  At. All.  But this...

makes having to get up early worth it. :-)

WW: Happy Fall!

This past Saturday we decided to take the kids up to Fifer's for their annual Fall Fest.  We've gone the past couple of years and the kids love it.  In the past we were able to go during the week since Aiden was home, but now that he's in school we have to do what everyone else does and wait for the weekend.  And boy, did people wait for the weekend! It was crowded! I've never been there when there were so many people! Luckily everything moved right along and the only thing we had to wait for was for Aiden to ride the zip line. And to see how excited he was about riding that made the wait worth it!

This went very wrong for Emma. After this she made Patrick go with her for her next trip down.

When Aiden gets excited, he tries to hold it in, but see those fingers wiggling? That's what he does when he excited and holding it in. :-)

As you can see, we had a great time. The only thing I would change? It was about 82 degrees...yeah, not very fall like, but we still had lots of fun!
